Welcome To Funny Together
SPEAKER_03Welcome to the Funny Together Podcast. I'm Ryan Corey, your host, and we have such a fun show for you today. So let's get rolling. Hey, hey guys. Thanks for joining me today. We have Mike James all the way from Arizona. Thank you. And we have the beautiful Christy Conder from Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville, Tennessee. I can reforce that a little bit. No, no, don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Anyway, we are so excited, you guys. Um I can't believe it. I love to see your faces. And um, I recently just got to spend some time with you both. But um, what I'd love to do is let's
Origin Stories And First Encounters
SPEAKER_03just talk about the origin meeting, if we if we shall. Um, let's start with you, Christy. Do you remember our first encounter? Do you remember first?
SPEAKER_04Yes, I saw you across a crowded room and thought I need to have Rhonda Corey in my life. I must I must seek her out. It was like Pride and Prejudice when you know, when Mr. Darcy comes walking through the fog. And yes, that was it. No, I yeah, I think it was CCA, right?
SPEAKER_03It was definitely CCA. Um, what I remember the most is when we all met at uh after CCA, we all met at this um like it was kind of like a fun bowling alley slash arcade slash whatever. I planned that party. Well, it was amazing. Where was that in Tennessee? Was that uh that was in Tennessee? And um it was so fun. And uh I think that's when we really you know we sat down and we talked, and we talked about your son um being in baseball. Well, he was bowling at that bowling alley. Really? That's so funny. Well, your son was in baseball and he competed, and he you used to go to the Cape, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, which is where um where I lived most. I grew up in Massachusetts, and I'm in Rhode Island now, but um yeah, so we talked about that. And my husband actually came with me, and uh he was a big help because I delegated. I delegated. I'm always uh my favorite saying is you know, if you need help, let me know, I'll find somebody. And so I still use that.
SPEAKER_04I still use that today.
SPEAKER_03If you need some help, let me know. I'll find somebody to do it. And uh that's what I did, and I and I volunteered my husband, but that's that is his that is his you know his uh talent. He's he was great with helps and yeah and with food and all the things, and that's why we eat around here. But anyway, so that was fun and Mike James. Mike James, it was so funny because I was uh going back, I had some pictures, some memories, and on my one of my Facebook memories, there was you, and there was uh a game that John Granion had, and there was somebody else, and but I looked and you were in that picture, and the funniest thing was you you weren't tagged, and I'm like, that's my jeans, and so that was at a uh uh CCA, which is Christian Comedy Association conference, right? Um, and that was in Atlanta, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_04It was Atlanta, that was in Atlanta, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That was at Ken Clinton was president then, and I I'm pretty sure that was my first one, my first uh CCA that I attended. That was big, that was a big one, yeah. It was I um yeah, pretty sure it was Ken. Yeah, no, it was it was Tennessee was Rick Roberts, anyway. Um, yeah, I it's funny, you just sent that picture to me the other day, Rhonda, and I thought, oh my gosh. So we met each other before we met each other. Right, it was just you and I in that picture competing in the game show.
SPEAKER_03No, that wasn't me. That wasn't me. It wasn't no, that wasn't me.
SPEAKER_00I'll put on my glasses next time.
SPEAKER_04I think I was with you, I I was on your team.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I remember I remember Sally Belkie was part of it. I don't remember she was on my team, but I remember because that's when I first met her, and she I she and I became friends at that point. But I don't remember, I I don't remember actually meeting either of you, like formally, like, oh yeah, I think the following year after that I wasn't there, and Brian went and he met with you. Uh he met you guys, I think. So anyway, when I went back again later with him, he introduced me to at least Rhonda. I don't remember, Christy, how we met.
SPEAKER_04I'm sure it was through that same group, but I just kind of blend in with everybody else.
SPEAKER_00I was trying to think of that earlier, and I thought, I don't remember. Have we ever met actually?
SPEAKER_04Well, I'm so glad that I several times, but it's fine. It's fine. Everybody calls me June. So it's it's so funny. Yeah, so um I do remember hanging out all like all four of us going to dinner in Dallas or in that wine.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, we went out to eat. I know that we all I for some reason you guys picked me as the leader. Where are you going? And I was like, Me, like, I'm the worst person to ask where where are you going?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we've learned not to ask you that anymore.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we know that that's the wrong thing. But anyway, I was like, honey, where are you going? Because John was with me, and we all we all ended up eating together, and and so that was a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_04I do remember going up that because they had all the little venues around that were we were doing stand-ups in Dallas, and I remember standing with you on one of them, and I was like, I am so nervous. You're like, I'm not, I love it, and I was like, Okay, I'm not nervous, I'm not nervous.
SPEAKER_03It's so funny when you ask the things that people uh remember about you, and then you're like, I sound obnoxious, so that's not good. That is not good at all. Um Mike James never says that.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03I do I do love um doing those things because I like the challenge of it, so that's what's so fun about it. But yeah, I get, you know, it's the nerves. There's always nerves. But I do love doing it. Um I think it's because of that, you know, a challenge part of it. But yeah, so we met, um, hold on.
Fast Food Origins The A&W Surprise
SPEAKER_03All right, so what we're gonna talk about today is fast food. Oh I know. All right, so what do you think is the oldest still standing fast food restaurant? Do you know? Yes.
SPEAKER_04I I would say McDonald's.
SPEAKER_00I would think that's obvious, but I'm guessing it's something else.
SPEAKER_04So, like but like I don't know, Whataburger's been around a long time, has it? Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00I my guess is McDonald's, but I I bet it's something else, like Sonic or something that you never was like White Castle or something. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, this is gonna blow your mind. A and W. Oh yeah, you know that. Are you ready for this? 1919. Wow, I know, 1919. Um, first Roy W. Allen opened up a simple roadside root beer stand in California to welcome home World War One veterans, and it grew into the world's very first fast food franchise chain, and they're still around today. Um, and they're still not that great.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm their root beer is great.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I and I so I don't I'm not a big root beer person, but we had gone I a few years ago. There's one that's not too far from us, and we had gone and we're like, I remember it being a lot better than this.
SPEAKER_00You know, uh AW, I always remember thinking it was just like Bob's Big Boy. Do you remember that restaurant? Yeah, yeah, it was very similar to that. In fact, I don't know why I almost conflate the two in my head, but anyway, we didn't have big Bob's Big Boy uh in the on the east coast. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04Around that was too fancy for me growing up, like for my parents, they were like, No, that's too fancy.
SPEAKER_03So White Castle was the first burger chain. Um whoa, and they still serve the same burger.
SPEAKER_00That's the one shipment of inventory, they're still working it off.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's because the the burgers are so small. That's right. Right, it's just actually it's one big huge burger, they just keep cutting it up. It like grows back.
SPEAKER_00Those are the worst burgers in the world.
SPEAKER_03What did I have don't they so we didn't have those around here either, but didn't they have like the little the little um yeah?
SPEAKER_00You can buy like you can buy like 10 10 burgers for like two dollars or something, but they were tiny, they were like little bit, but they're just but it was good in the middle of the night when you were like not feeling great.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03So don't those call don't they call those sliders now? They sell them like sliders. Yeah, yeah. Right now it's like an appetizer thing or or on the kids' menu sliders, yeah. Um, so then a few decades for the other giants to show up like uh McDonald's, they that started as a barbecue drive-in in 1940. KFC start uh opened its first franchise in 1951, and Burger King was 1954.
Ranking Fast Food Giants By Revenue
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_03Isn't that interesting? Yeah, so um there is uh let's see, what is making it today the top five in res in revenue? What do you think revenue? So first the Cash Kings, what do you think they are? What's the first? It is McDonald's, yeah. It is McDonald's.
SPEAKER_00Taco Bell KFC.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're gonna be really surprised, and you should know this.
SPEAKER_04You should know this, you guys. Domino, dominoes are one of those is up there, too.
SPEAKER_00Chick-fil-A is probably way up there.
SPEAKER_04Chick-fil-A, yes, right.
SPEAKER_03Christian people don't even know that. Chick-fil-A is number two. Comes in.
SPEAKER_00Not actually part of our doctrine, you know.
SPEAKER_03I think it is. I think if you look in the Bible, um it's in the message Bible.
SPEAKER_04That's what it is.
SPEAKER_00I suffer great guilt from not thinking Chick-fil-A is a very good food. It's okay.
SPEAKER_03You don't like it?
SPEAKER_00No, it's okay, but it's like it's a chicken sandwich, the same as any other chicken sandwich.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, it's not.
SPEAKER_00I feel like to me, it is.
SPEAKER_04I feel like it's only chicken, Mike. It's what it's holy chicken, exactly. Consecrated chicken.
SPEAKER_00Chick-fil-A was voted one of the least healthy fast food places you can eat.
SPEAKER_03That has nothing to do with the taste. Yeah, I know. And so who's why? How many healthy fast food restaurants do you eat at? I mean, that's an oxymoron. That is an oxymoron.
SPEAKER_00Well, chicken itself is pretty unhealthy anyway. So that restaurant says it's pure pure chicken.
SPEAKER_03All right, so let's talk about. Um, all right, let me just tell you the number third, the third one is Taco Bell, and number uh, and I mean sorry, the third one is Starbucks. They count that fast food, they count that as fast food Starbucks? Yeah, Starbucks, yeah, and then is Taco Bell, and then is Wendy's. So now if you had to go, if you
Road Trip Burger Picks And Hype
SPEAKER_03had to pick out of uh all the fast food chains, all right, we're on the road. Say we're driving on the road, which happens a lot, and you have you have McDonald's, you have Burger King, you have um Mike's grunting.
SPEAKER_04Are you tired of the drive already, Mike? Yeah, can we pull over?
SPEAKER_03You already we're not pulling over yet. We have to find a place to eat. Um I don't know. You all the fast food chains. Okay, which one I would choose. All right, how about for a burger? For a burger, where do you want to stop for a burger?
SPEAKER_00I would choose in and out number one.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you don't like in and out? Talk about I don't like in and out.
SPEAKER_04I do not like in and out.
SPEAKER_03I don't get the hype. All right, Christy. So you uh Mike's is is uh is in and out.
SPEAKER_00I would say in and out or whataburger. I like the WhatsApp.
SPEAKER_03Whataburger, I would say yes. All right, and is isn't that your number one, Christy? For a burger? Yeah, for a burger, yes. We don't have a lot of water burgers. I know, I know you don't. We have nothing here. We have we're just getting things. It's like, wow, there's another part of the world that we could franchise in. And it's it's like, you know, it's I've had to be introduced to things in other parts of uh the country when I'm like you know, like Dory took me on a uh on a tour, and I I got we we had a restaurant open here in Buckeye, Arizona, near where I am, uh-huh, and it the freeways were jammed up, everything, um, because it was a Buckeys.
SPEAKER_04Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00Bucky's open here, and you know, the population here is a huge number of people from the Midwest and imported people. Um, but they went nuts, and it's funny because I looked online and I thought, oh, it actually has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and horrible you know, reviews from customers as far as satisfaction stuff. And I posted that on one of these little threads in the in you know our neighborhood stuff. Man, people went after me quick. But she this is like their religion. Bucky's is like I said, it's a gas station, Texas thing.
SPEAKER_02I know, and they don't serve burgers, they what do they serve barbecue brisket? Oh, they serve brisket, okay.
SPEAKER_00And not the best brisket either. It's okay, but it's not like well, it's not like mission barbecue or no, you know, anything like that, or there's other way better Texas barbecue than Bucky, right?
SPEAKER_04But yeah, so burgers, I mean over here. I will say, just not far from us, we got a Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, in and out, yeah. So all three lined up. So everybody, it was the first in and out, like Tennessee or something, so everybody was lined up. So I was like, pick your line. You want your water burger or your Chick-fil-A or your In N Out Burger.
SPEAKER_03I did have What's Dory McClamour introduced me to What's your and uh actually I was there with Brian too, Brian uh Katsu and that's one of his favorite places. Yeah, well they have good breakfast. Why do you? It was it was really good. I I liked it. I liked it. Do you like how about five guys? Do you guys like five guys? I like five guys.
SPEAKER_00I never eat it. I've I'm I'm I'm sure I've had it, I just don't know that it's I don't remember it.
SPEAKER_04That was an after church thing. That was an after like after church, we remind it that, but it's gotten really expensive, and it's not necessarily and it's it's not a like drive, there's no drive-thru. It's like you have to go in and get out and go in. And I'm like, yeah, I'm not doing that.
SPEAKER_00A lot of those places have gotten really expensive.
SPEAKER_03We have a drive-thru at ours. We do have a um a fire. But you have to like order it and you can pick it up at the window, so like you can order it on your phone. You can order it on the app. Not that I do that very often, I really don't. I'm not because every time I eat five guys, first of all, I have to take out them uh, you know, alone, and then I do love their fries though. Their fries are so good. Their fries are good, it's so bad, and they're like it's it's like one of those, like I've eaten it and then I like have the regrets afterwards. Like I I have fast food. Fast food, yeah. Most of it, most of it I
Chicken Fingers Fries And Fast Food Regret
SPEAKER_03have regrets right afterwards. Um, all right, chicken. Like, where's your favorite uh chicken place for now?
SPEAKER_00I know I know Mike's not gonna say Chick-fil-A, which is of all the chicken places, Chick-fil-A would probably be the better one, I suppose. But like I don't KFC, I don't can't raising canes, you know.
SPEAKER_02I like raising canes. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I just don't like I don't know. It's it's again it tastes just like it's chicken fingers you get at the bar. It's the same.
SPEAKER_03No, it's not to me.
SPEAKER_00It is. It's and it doesn't plus. I don't like that food. I don't like it. It's dry and nasty, it's gross.
SPEAKER_04Mike could also be a toddler, you know. He could also be, I don't like it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I can't believe it.
SPEAKER_00Like, first of all, I refuse it like I stomp my feet and can't eat it. I'm just saying it's mediocre at best.
SPEAKER_03Oh, see, I love raisin canes. I love raisin canes because I love the raisin canes sauce, and that's what makes it. If you don't give me the sauce with it, I will I will be like, forget it. Like, I will cry. And and and Dory McLamore taught me this too because she um she introduced me to canes, and then we we had one here, and then we got another one. And sometimes I just have to have it. Do you know what I mean? And the sauce. Oh, it's so good. It's so good. But she taught me this, you guys. You know how they have the the the Texas toast, right? It looks like a hot dog roll, you guys. It's not a hot dog roll. I talked to the I talked to the woman.
SPEAKER_00That was not that she's I'm pretty sure it is a hot dog roll.
SPEAKER_03It's not a hot dog roll, it's actually a loaf of bread and they cut it like that.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know what? Uh a hot dog roll is actually a loaf of bread they just cut it like that.
SPEAKER_03Okay, um, that's true. Unless it could have once been a loaf, and I'm not gonna believe it. I'm only gonna believe that they do it at Keynes. But here's the thing, and this is this is really something that people should know because they they butter the the Texas toast on one side. But you guys, if you say you want it bobbed, it means buttered on both, and they don't like it when you say that, but I don't care because I love it.
SPEAKER_04So Rhonda also gets her food spit on, so that's good.
SPEAKER_03Probably, I don't think so because the kitchen's wide open, so you have to like um, although that would be a good viral video. There you go. Um, no, it's and uh oh my goodness, that I know that that bread must be like a million calories, but it is I don't know what it is. It is so good. Oh my word, it is so good. That's no hot dog roll like James. That is that is awesome.
SPEAKER_04And I'm getting nuggets though. I I do like Chick-fil-A's nuggets, but do you know who else has really good nuggets? Is Wendy's. Really? Wendy's has really good nuggets. I think they're better than McDonald's.
SPEAKER_00You know, it's funny because I was saying, like the with the chicken, I don't that um like chicken fingers or nuggets or chicken sandwich. I'm just not a big fan of it, it's just not my thing. However, my favorite food of in the world is hot wings.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. Oh, okay. See now, now you're going though, but there's there's evolved, and and I know sometimes I can get in my head and go, hmm, this kind of grosses me out a little bit. And so, like, I don't wanna, I don't know. I just don't, I'd rather not. I like boneless, I like boneless wings.
SPEAKER_00See, that's not that that that's I know it's not all. I know that's like it that's like the chicken fingers. It to me, it's just like it's not like I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't know, but I do I love the buffalo, it's like buffalo, buffalo, and no, okay.
SPEAKER_04Have you seen at the World Cup though? That that the TSA is calling people leaving our country and they're taking bottles of ranch, yeah. And the TSA is saying, please put that in your carry. I mean your check-in, your check-in luggage, not your carry-on. So they're they are taking bottles.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so all right, buffalo wings, you guys. Blue
Wings Dips And The Ranch Wars
SPEAKER_03cheese or ranch? Blue cheese or ranch?
SPEAKER_00Blue cheese by far. I hate ranch ranch.
SPEAKER_03Really? Oh no, blue cheese.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I love blue cheese.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, do you like blue cheese though, Christy? At all? I do. I I really do like interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I like blue cheese.
SPEAKER_00I have a love it or hate it. I think my this taste of ranch is just because of counterculture. Because ranch, like I don't know, 20 years ago, whenever it was, all of a sudden every single thing in the world was covered in ranch. Not in the world, but they're smuggling it out. There's it's an American thing, they're smuggling it out of and I just I I've never been a big fan of it, but all of a sudden, I mean, people put pizza, the most perfect tasting food in the world, and they drown it in a ranch. Like,
SPEAKER_04It's so good. I love pizza and ranch. Love it. No, that's wrong. In college in Texas St. Am I that was the first time I'd ever had ranch with their with pizza, and it was phenomenal.
SPEAKER_03No, it doesn't need anything else. I think it's perfect. I agree with you.
SPEAKER_00God ordained pizza without ranch, and I think that's how we should keep it.
SPEAKER_03All right, you guys. We're ready. We're ready to go into the game. Okay.
Two Truths And A Lie Talents
SPEAKER_03We are going to do uh two truths and a lie.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03And uh got your lie ready. And we're we're uh today's topic um on two truths and a lie is um if you have a skill or a hidden talent. So so you're gonna name two skills or hidden talents, and one that's a lie. And um, I was talking to Mike before the show, and I was saying I could come up with a lot of lies. Come up with a lot of lies, but um, all right, so let's see who wants to start. You want to start us off? Um, Chrissy, you want to start us off? Sure.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I can pop my toes. I can know what that means.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what do you mean? Pop your toes, like crack your knuckles with your toes?
SPEAKER_04Basically, yes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I can wiggle my ears without moving the rest of my face, and I can fold a fitted sheet.
SPEAKER_00So uh first of all, folding a fitted sheet is witchcraft, so I don't think you should be doing that. Although, although knowing you, I believe you could fold a fitted. That's my I think you could fold a fitted sheet. Yeah, I can and I I don't know about the toes or ears. What do you think, Rhonda?
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna go with the ears are a lie. I think the ears are a lie.
SPEAKER_00Um, yeah, I'm gonna say the same thing.
SPEAKER_03And popping toes if you can do that, I don't want to see it.
SPEAKER_00I think I think the ears are like because popping your toes is such an obscure thing. I it feels like why would you come up with that? So I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say you can pop your ears is so common. No, but it's something people have I don't know. I think you can wiggle, you cannot wiggle your ears. Are we right?
SPEAKER_03I know it just seems too hard. All right, what is it, Christy? I can't wiggle my ears. Okay, all right.
SPEAKER_04But my husband can't, my husband can't. That's why I can't. I really he can just sit there and his his whole ears will just go like this. How do you even?
SPEAKER_03I don't even know what like what to tell my brain.
SPEAKER_04Like he said, he sat there during you know in high school and was like, I can do this.
SPEAKER_00So he can I love that. I don't even know what to tell my brain. How do I even instruct my ears to move?
SPEAKER_03How would you even go about that?
SPEAKER_04Like, how would you even like, hey brain, I want to wiggle my ears if you're not doing like these muscles, you have to just isolate your jaw, push it back.
SPEAKER_00I love that mostly because that makes me think that when Rhonda's doing anything like walking, hey brain, move forward.
SPEAKER_04I don't even know how to make my brain do that.
SPEAKER_03But you know how some things you have to think about first before you that's all, and walking, I I kind of got down on my phone. Blinking, I have to really think, and close. No, but okay, but close, yeah, winking, you know, closing one eye, you have to think about it. So there is those things. All right, Mike, what's your what's your two truths in a line?
SPEAKER_00Okay, so I did this, but keep in mind I don't I can't tell you I can do this currently, but I have done this, okay. So that's pretty funny. One of these is um I learned every move of the Napoleon dynamite dance at the in the movie.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00I learned all the moves to that, not perfectly, but I was able to get through the whole thing.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, I can juggle only two at a time. I can't do like three things. I can juggle. Yeah, two at a time. That's juggling.
SPEAKER_04No, that's moving from hand to hand.
SPEAKER_00No, it's how do you call that juggling? It's juggling, stop it.
SPEAKER_03I can't that's a lie right there. Just that that you call it juggling. All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00I'm not okay. Um, and I was a competitive water skier and I skied behind a US Navy destroyer and alongside a pot of orcas. That's all one.
SPEAKER_03Wow. A pod of orcas, not a pot. Okay, sorry. I just like I see my brain had to process what you just said.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so we've got the the water skiing dynamite, Napoleon dynamite juggling and juggling and waterskiing.
SPEAKER_04I know he was a competitive waterskier.
SPEAKER_03I think so too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't see him dancing, so I don't see the dancing thing. No, I if you can't juggle two things at a time, then that's just sad. Okay, so I'm gonna go Napoleon dynamite. I'm gonna go with the Napoleon dynamite too is the lie.
SPEAKER_00That's what you're both voting on?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You are incorrect.
SPEAKER_03The water scheme.
SPEAKER_00No way, you're correct. What's you for a moment? No, I yeah, I did not learn that dance.
SPEAKER_03No way, and that and I'm glad for you and everyone else.
SPEAKER_00You really don't think juggling can be done with just two balls?
SPEAKER_03That's not juggling. That's what you can juggling.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you just did it. I can do that. Yeah, that is so not when I learned to do that.
SPEAKER_00I was proud of myself. I'll have you know now you really my dreams.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you tell your brain to do that.
SPEAKER_00That's what my brain. Okay, now juggle. Hey, I learned it.
SPEAKER_03All right, do you want to hear my do you want to hear my skills? Go ahead. Okay, um, I uh I could beat you in a swim match. Anyone, I can beat you. Maybe not. Um maybe not. What's his name?
SPEAKER_00Michael Phelps.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was gonna go with Mark Spitz with the show with my age.
SPEAKER_00Just just dating yourself a little bit. Um remember that new guy in the Michael Phelps now.
SPEAKER_04It's like I'm old.
SPEAKER_00Um Mark Spitz.
SPEAKER_03I so mean. I alright. I can close a bag of chips without a chip clip and without them spilling. Okay, okay. Um, and I can uh uh I feel like she's making this up on her. I can make my dog not bark. I can no and I can frost a cake without getting any crumbs in my frosting. The swimming.
SPEAKER_04That's the swimming is the why.
SPEAKER_00I'm thinking the swimming right off the bat too, but why's that?
SPEAKER_04Because you call it a swimming match.
SPEAKER_00It's not a swim meet. I I can I can out swim you on any court.
SPEAKER_04I can outswim. I can swim match. I can do it. It's not cool.
SPEAKER_00That's a good dud giveaway there.
SPEAKER_04I was like, and we're done.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_02I should have come up with something else. I can wiggle my ears.
SPEAKER_04Well, like you chapterized me at my house because you were like, you don't need the chips, right? You don't need the chip clip, and I was like chips thing.
SPEAKER_00Oh, so you have inside knowledge on the clips chip.
SPEAKER_03I taught you that. It's a skill, and I and that's the only skill I have, apparently.
SPEAKER_04That is the only well no you're a good maker. You're a great maker, and I knew that.
SPEAKER_03And so I was like something else, like I could do something else, but swim match. I'm a horrible liar. We know that, and that's why I tell the truth all the time.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I like how Christy and I both raised she said the first one. I'm exactly anyone, anyone no less. Anyone swimming having no doubt either of us swim at a swim game, and we're both like, yeah, that's it. I don't I don't care if you say you can balance a thousand pennies.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh, I'm so bad. I'm a bad liar. Well, that's that's okay because I don't need to lie. There you go. I which is bad because if you know me, I don't lie and I tell the truth.
SPEAKER_00Well, you know, it's impressive. We got all three on each other, so we must know each other fairly well.
SPEAKER_03That's right. We know we're well, yeah. So we're good friends. All right, so I'm gonna end with this.
Do It Afraid Final Takeaway
SPEAKER_03Um, and I've I've been ending with it, and maybe I'll change, but I just want you to know if you're afraid to do something, it's okay. You can do it afraid. All right, that's all we have for today. Bye, everybody.
